Cost Estimating
Location: Boston, MAClient: BVH Integrated Services
Budget: $120M
The UMass Boston Utility Corridor and Roadway project involves the design and construction of a new utility corridor to support future buildings and provide reliable utility services to the campus. It also will include a new roadway network that will provide various amenities including bike lanes, tree lawns, and sidewalks throughout the campus as well as upgrades to the Central Plant.
The UMass Boston campus operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year making operational logistics extremely complex. Construction activities have been phased as to be sequenced around the operations of the campus causing as little disruption as possible.
PMC is providing cost estimating and logistical support throughout the entirety of the project.
