Peter founded PM&C in 2005 to help clients focus on comprehensive cost control. His commitment to deliver quality projects within budget is a true testament to his client-focused responsiveness. Having been in the construction business for over 35 years with experience as a hard-bid estimator, chief estimator for a design/bid contractor, cost consultant for one the world’s largest cost management firms, development manager on a successful $500M mixed use project, project manager on numerous private sector projects and now leading PM&C, he is an expert in cost estimating and cost management with in-depth knowledge of conceptual project budgeting. Peter has structured PM&C to be small enough to give personal attention to clients, but large enough to handle any size project. Peter enjoys the diversity of the projects he works on and has a keen ability to partner with his clients to ensure they get the best value for money.
With over 30 years of experience in the construction industry Colin experience ranges from field carpenter to owner’s project manager and clerk of the works. In addition to his role as senior cost estimator, Colin manages our Lender Advising and Change Order Management services which provides insight into construction trends and real time market data.
Denise has over 25 years of pre-construction estimating experience. For the majority of her career, she has worked in the national collegiate, healthcare and life science markets while more recently focusing in the public education and municipal markets. Over the years Denise has earned a reputation of successfully engaging with her counterparts to maximize her client’s program while maintaining their budget.
Maria is a senior estimator at PM&C with over 25 years of national industry experience. Having worked with both Construction Management and Estimating firms, she has experience ranging from field engineer to senior estimator. Maria is known to develop strong relationships with clients and collaborates with all parties to ensure a successful project.
Bao has worked as a cost estimator since 2013 with experience in the public and private market sectors. His architectural background brings a valuable perspective and skill set to his role at PM&C, specifically his knowledge of CADD and 3-D modeling. Bao’s responsiveness and attention to detail is valued by clients.
Joe has over 30 years of work experience with local construction management firms building projects within New England and nationally. He has expertise in site supervision, project management and preconstruction management. In his prior roles as vice president of pre-construction and chief estimator, Joe negotiated GMP and hard bid projects. Having experience in residential, institutional, health care, historic restoration, assisted living, hospitality, and commercial markets, he excels at interpreting logistics, constructability details, and phasing.
Amy is at the helm of PM&C’s business operations, making sure all facets are in working order. She manages scheduling, invoicing, payroll, record keeping, proposal production, client communications and the development of marketing programs and materials. She is a graduate of Marquette University with a BA in Journalism.
Having worked in the construction industry for over 10 years, Marty has experience in field engineering, project management and estimating with local and international firms. Since joining in 2015, Marty has advanced his estimating skills by working on a variety of projects in a wide range of market sectors. He has recently become involved with our Lender Advising service which keeps him current on construction trends and technologies and provides him with prevailing market data.
Travis is a senior sitework estimator at PM&C with over 15 years of industry experience. He is a registered landscape architect with experience in the private and public sectors. Travis has worked as both a designer and a construction project manager for sitework contractors. This unique perspective helps him understand the nuances of projects and successfully deliver accurate informed estimates. His insight is highly valued by owners and designers.
Kim can help with any of your marketing needs. She is an AEC marketing veteran and is available for all things from proposals, website, communications and client relations. Kim has her BS in Business Management from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where she sits on the Alumni Board of Directors.
